Fertiliser distributed
NARAIL, Dec 4: Some 3,861 farmers have received fertiliser and seeds worth Tk 45 lakh at free of cost in the district under the post-flood rehabilitation programme. Local Department of Agricultural Extension office said the government has allocated Tk 99 lakh for rehabilitating the flood-affected farmers of the district. Under the programme, 2,330 farmers have received fertilisers and seeds in Sadar Upazila, 955 in Lohagara and 576 in Kalia Upazila. The rest of the allocated money would be spent for the marginal farmers of the district, the sources said, reports UNB.
