Dhaka Stadium, otherwise known as Bangabandhu National Stadium, is the only internationally recognised venue for football. But since the NSC transferred the responsibility of the stadium to Bangladesh Football Federation from Bangladesh Cricket Board, no planning was taken to improve the condition of dressing rooms, gates, gallery, privy, drainage and all that related things.

As a result, the FIFA representative who inspected the Dhaka Stadium two days ago had expressed his total dissatisfaction at the ground condition and hinted of cancellation of the recognition. Our question is, who is responsible for the plight of the stadium and will the government take punitive action against persons responsible?
