CHITTAGONG, Nov 27: A woman prisoner of Chittagong Jail died of a cardiac arrest at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) in the early hours of on Sunday. The dead prisoner was identified as Saju Begum, wife of Joynal Uddin of Panchlish thana in the city. Jail sources said, Saju Begum was arrested in connection with a drug related case from her Panchlish residence five months ago. She was rushed to CMCH by the jail authorities last night as she felt pain in her chest but died soon after her admission, reports BSS.
