One person was killed and 10 were wounded in a road mishap at Birail in Sherpur under Boyra district on Tuesday last.

Sources said, the accident was occured when a Bogra-bound passenger bus Agradut Enterprise from Pabna overturned at Birail.

The deceased was identified as Asalata Basu (50), wife of Nipendra Nath Basu of Solepara village of Tarash Upazilla under Sirajganj district. The injured are: Kamalesh Sarker (70), father of Asalata, Sankori Mahato (40), Madhok Kumar (45). They were the passengers of the bus.
