Three persons were killed and 20 others injured in two road accidents in the district on Tuesday.

Police said a bus turned turtle on the Pabna-Ishwardi road when it ran over a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. Motorcyclist Anwar Hossain, 30, and his co-passenger Rostom Ali, 32, were killed on the spot.

At least 20 passengers of the bus were also injured. Of them, 10 were admitted to Pabna General Hospital.

In another accident, Yasin Ali, a cyclist, was crushed under the wheels of a truck on the same road.

Two separate cases were filed.
