Kothin Chibar Dan festival begins in Bandarban BSS, Bandarban The 'Kothin Chibar Dan' festival of the Buddhist community started with the reciting Mongal Sutra and hoisting of national flag at Kalaghata Amrokanan Buddho Palli here this morning on Thursday. The sources said, preparation of programmes like dinner, sitting of Buddhist monk, religious meeting and performing other rituals. Later, Sualok, Amtoli,Marmapara and Totchhonga para under Sadar upazila of the district observed the two-day long Kothin Chibar festival.
