Former BNP lawmaker Anwarul Islam sent to jail BSS, Pabna A court here today sent former BNP lawmaker from Pabna-3 constituency KM Anwarul Islam to jail rejecting his bail petition. Anwarul Islam was arrested for stealing corrugated iron (CI) sheets meant for relief. Pabna District and Sessions Judge Sunil Chandra Pal ordered to send Anwarul Islam to jail after his surrender before the court, his lawyer Abdul Hamid told BSS.
