A total of 62 meritorious students of class two to five of Narsingdi Sadar upazila and its adjacent areas were awarded annual scholarship by Pachdona Graduate Association on Monday.

Deputy Commissioner Zillar Rahman was the chief guest at the function held on the Pachdona Samad Plaza premises here.

Principal of Narsingdi Government College attended the function as special guest with President of the association Hasanat Kabir Lokman in the chair. The function was addressed, among others, by BG Rashid Nawsher, Harunur Rashid, Zahedur Rahman, Abdur Rahman and Motaleb Hossain. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the role of Pachdona Graduate Association for awarding scholarships to meritorious primary students.
