First Baseball tournament begins Nov 11 UNB, Dhaka The Shapla Rang Biponi 1st Baseball Tournament, organised by Bangladesh Baseball Federation, begins Sunday (Nov 11) at the Outer Stadium. National Sports Council (NSC) secretary Aminul Islam will formally inaugurate the meet as chief guest. Three teams -- Solaiman SC, Sirajganj Krira Shikkha Prothishtan and Joshlodia Krira & Janakalyan Sangstha of Bikrampur -- will take part in the first-ever baseball tournament in the country, said a press release.
