Educational fair in city from Nov 9
Your Exhibition and Event Solution (YEES) organised a press conference at the National Press Club in the city on Monday in connection with Dhaka International Trade Fair -2007, to be held from November 9 to November 12. Banglar Chokh DU Correspondent YEES Your Exhibitions and Event Solutions, a private event management company, is going to organise a four-day long Dhaka International Education Fair-2007 at the Basundhara Expo centre from November 9 to 12. Adv Sultana Kamal, former adviser to the government, will inaugurate the Fair, while Former BGMEA President Anisur Rahman will be present as special guest. A total of 55 universities from home and abroad, education institutions and related service providers will participe in the fair. This was disclosed at a press conference at the National Press Club yesterday. Entry fee was fixed at Tk 10 for each while the institutions registered with Fair will not be required to pay any entry fee. Mohammad Rezaul Karim, Mohammad Musa and Mohabbat H Chowdhury, among others, were present in the press conference. The British Council Dhaka is organising a two-day long UK Qualification Fair at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre from November 8. The first day of the fair will begin at 11:00am and continue till 7:00pm and second day from 10am to 6:00pm. UK Qualification Fair will start in Chittagong from November 11 to 12 and November 15 in Sylhet. Entry Fee was fixed at Tk. 20- in all venues. Peter Ashton, Asistant Director of British Council disclosed this at a press conference at its conference room yesterday.
