The three-day training course on preparation of voter list with photographs and national identity cards ended here on Saturday.

The participants in the course were provided with training on door to door visit for distribution of relevant forms for registration and data collection, and necessary rules and regulations to make the programme a success.

Deputy commissioner Quazi M. Anwarul Hakim inaugurated the training course as the chief guest while the sessions were conducted, by Captain Rakib, deputy election officer Hamidul Alam, district election officer Syed Ali Imam and sadar upazila election officer Bulbul Ahmed.

An assistant registration officer, 28 supervisors and 139 data collectors took part in the training. They will be engaged in collecting data in Gaibandha pourasabha areas from today.
