Inspector General of Police Noor Mohammad is leaving Dhaka on Saturday night for Morocco to attend the 76th annual general conference of Interpol.

Over 500 representatives from 186 member-countries of the international police organization will attend the meet to be held at Marrakus in the Arab state on Monday, said a release from the Police Headquarters.

The conference will discuss strengthening coordination and cooperation among the police departments of the member- countries and crime-control strategies.

The IGP is leading a four-member Bangladesh team to the conference. The other members are DG of the Rapid Action Battalion Hasan Mahmud Khandaker, DIG (Administration) Syed Shah Jaman Raj and AIG (NCB) Anwar Kamal.
