Charge framed against CCC ward commissioner in extortion case Our Correspondent, Chittagong A court here in Chittagong on Monday framed charge in an extortion case filed by a woman on November 10, 2006. The charges have been filed in the court of Judge of Divisional Special Tribunal Shafiqul Karim. Five persons have been charged on charge of demanding Taka 5 millions extortion from Ayesha Khatun. The accused are CCC Ward commissioner Mohammad Aslam, Mohammad Shahjahan, Mohammad Sharif, Mohammad Ishaq and Mohammad Harun. Statements of nine witnesses have been recorded to frame the charge. Ayesha Khatun filed the extortion case with Patenga police station on November 2006.
