Joypurhat, Oct 28: A young man was killed by some terrorists at Hossain Nagar in Akkelpur upazila on Friday night. The dead was identified as Anisur Rahman, 25, son of Ahmed Ali of Harisara village. Sources said two groups of youths of Bhanurkanda and neighbouring Harisara villages of the upazila locked into an altercation over teasing a girl at a fair organized at Hossain Nagar on the occasion of Laxmi Puja of Hindu community. At one stage some terrorists of Bhanurkanda village swooped on Anisur of Harisara village blaming him for teasing the girl and beat him up mercilessly, leaving him seriously injured, reports UNB.
