Permanent representative-designate to the United Nations in Geneva Dr Debapriya Bhattacharya Tuesday urged the businessmen not to expect too much from him.

"You won't get disappointed if you expect little from me," he said in a discussion meeting on 'WTO and SMEs of Bangladesh' with members of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).

He stressed the need for a national consensus for WTO negotiations so that no sector of the country is left behind. Debapriya also called for building up capacity to have dispute-settling mechanisms. DCCI president Hossain Khaled presided over the meeting.
