After 19 years Madaripur Press Club formed its new executive committee on October 25 last.

The newly elected office bearers are: Golam Mowla Akond (Jugantor) President, Yakub Khan Shimir (Somokal Gen. Secretary, Abul Hasan Shohel (Manabjamin Treasurer Belal Khan (Observer) -Vice-President Ali Akber Khoka (Dinkal) -Vice President-2, Mr. Mortuza (NTV) - Joint Secretary, Mojibor Rahman Ujjal (Channel-I) -Sports Secretary, Bashir Ahmed (Nayadiganto) -Cultural Secretary, Faruk Khan Chunnu (Al Mujadded)- Executive Member Sheikh Samsuddoha (Sangram Borhanus Sultan (New Nation) S.M. Russel (Khabar Patra).
