Sub-standard cement floods markets in Thakurgaon

Our Correspondent, Thakurgaon

Sub-standard cement has flooded markets in five upazilas of the district causing deprivation to the consumers of quality cement for sound construction work.

Violating the rules a section of dishonest traders are selling sub-standard cement to the people openly. Houses built with the low quality cement may collapse at any time, construction workers feared. Most of the customers are not aware of the supply of adulterated and sub-standard cement in the district.
