35 hurt in Shailakupa clash

At least 35 persons were injured in a clash between two rival groups at village Majdia under Sheilakupa upazila on Wednesday morning.

According to sources, there was village enmity among two groups over village power politics, one group Head by UP member. Abdur Rashid and rival group led by Mamtaz Madol. On Wednesday morning one Alam cut a branch of a tree of Mohar Ali.

Following the trifle matter two groups were locked in a clash among themselves of which 35 persons including 3 women were injured. Among them, 19 persons were admitted at Shailakapa and 7 in Jhenidah hospital OC Sheilkupa PS said that no group came to thana to file a case till writing this report.
