A meeting of the Gangachara Upazila Coordination Committee on voters' registration with photographs and preparation of the national identity (ID) cards was held at upazila auditorium here on Thursday.

With Gangachara UNO Mukesh Kumar in the chair, it was addressed, among others, by Captain Iqbal, District Election Officer Subhash Chandra Sarker, Warrant Officer Zakir Hossain and Upazila Election Officer Lutfun Nahar.

Local government officials, assistant registration officers, teachers, UP chairmen and members, elite, professionals and local journalists were present.
