Poor family gets rickshaw-van, relief materials in Gaibandha BSS, Gaibandha Joint Forces stood beside a poor man at Patkapara village under Sundarganj upazila of the district on Thursday through giving him a new rickshaw-van and relief materials. They came to know the grievances of Dulal Miah, son of late Abdul Matin, through a story published by a national daily on October 17. Maj. Gen. Syed Fatemi Ahmed Roomy, GOC of 66 Infantry Division, asked Brig. Gen. Ibrahim Jamal, Commander of 66 Artillery Brigade and Lt. Col. Syed Fazley Quader Ahmed, local commanding officer of the joint forces, to look after the matter earnestly. A team of Joint Forces of Gaibandha camp led-by Maj. M. Shajahan visited the house of Dulal Miah on Thursday and gave him a new rickshaw-van helping him to lead a very descent life. They also gave him a packet of relief materials, including 10 kgs of rice, one kg of lentil, one litre of soybean oil, one kg of pulse, one kg of sugar, one kg of Shemai and two kgs of meat. Family sources said, Dulal Miah consists of four members' family and having only two decimal of land. Now he and his family members are very happy and expressed gratitude to the Joint Forces for helping them.
