Three police personnel including an assistant sub-inspector were injured after their motorbike hit a fox on Hijolgari-Nehalpur road under Sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday night.

Police sources said camp-in-charge of Hijalgari police camp ASI Shafiqur Rahman and two police constables were visiting the puja mandaps of the area riding a motorbike at night.

As they reached near a field on Hijolgari-Nehalpur the speedy motorbike hit a fox crossing the road. The motorbike slipped at the roadside as the rider failed to control the bike. All of them injured in the incident.

They were admitted to Chuadanga Sadar hospital. Critically injured constable Shahadat Hossain was shifted to Dhaka as his condition deteriorated.
