Two persons were killed and other one person was injured seriously at Poina Bus-stand under Kasiani Upazila of Gopalganj district on Dhaka-Khulna highway on Tuesday noon.

It is learnt that a motorcycle with three rider-was going to Khulna ghat from Kasiani Upazila sadar, when the motor cycle reached Pona Bus stand then a passenger bus ran over the motorcycle on Tuesday noon.

As a result, Emran (35) died on the spot and Sholel (25) died on way to Faridpur Medical College and other motorcycle rider was admitted to Faridpur Medical College.

A case has been registered with Kasiani PS in this connection.
