2000 extra-judicial killings in US According to the newspaper reports, about 2000 people died at the time of taking in police custody between 2003 and 2005. Of them, 45 percent are whites, 30 pc are non-whites and 25 percent are Spanish. Death in police custody happens sometimes in our country, but death at the time of taking into custody is rare. In last three years, however, there are few hundred cases of death in cross-firing. Whenever a man dies in Bangladesh in police custody, the human right organisations and the US State Department raise hue and cry and advise to behave properly. Now what will they say about the death of 2000 people in the USA in three years at the time of taking into custody? William Dhaka
