In the holy month of Ramzan, the iftar items are being sold at exorbitant prices in different markets or stalls and road corners of Gouripur. Ishwarganj and Nandail Upazilas of Mymensingh district

The price of Iftar items registered 30 to 35 percent rise than that of the previous year due to unbridled hike in the price of all commodities which are used for making iftar items.

Prices of most ifter items have gone beyond the reach of commoners forcing many of them to purchase reduced quantity of items of cope with the alarming situation.
