Strong quake recorded BSS, Dhaka An earthquake of "strong intensity" was recorded by Agargaon Seismic Observatory Centre here yesterday at 23 hours 59 minutes 47 seconds (BST). The distance of the epicentre was about 9108 kms northeast from the observatory, said a Met office press release. The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 6.6 Richter scale, the press release added.
