At the end of the second phase of detention, Awami League General Secretary Abdul Jalil was taken under another three-month detention yesterday, sources said.

Deputy Inspector General of Prison (DIG-Prison) Major Shamsul Haider Siddique told The New Nation, "We have received the leter from the Home Ministry yesterday."
