Navy Chief Vice Admiral Sarwar Jahan Nizam handed over Harbour Patrol Boat, made in Khulna Shipyard, to Coast Guard here on Thursday.

Earlier, the Navy Chief visited the Khulna Shipyard and expressed satisfaction as it now turned into a profitable organization in the southern part of the country.

Khulna Shipyard was handed over to the Bangladesh Navy on October 3,1999 as it was on the verge of closure as a sick organization. Officials said now it has become a profitable organization under the new management
