Members of Rapid Action Batalion (RAB) from Joypurhat camp arrested two extortionists from a banana market in Polashbari upazila town while they were collecting tolls from the businessmen on Saturday night

Police said, acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB raided the banana market and caught two extortionists red- handed while collecting tolls. They also seized Taka 18,662 from them.

The arrested were identified as Abdul Majid 45, son of late Rajab Ali of Horinabari village under Polashbari and Motiar Rahman 35, son of Abdul Jobbar of Raigram village of the same Upazila.
