Superintendent of Police of Mymensingh district Rafiqul Islam said programmes of Community Policing and Open House Day are the integral parts of the process of improving law and order in the localities.

Members of police want to prove themselves as real friends of common people through providing thana desired services in a cordial manner to establish the rule of law for building a peaceful and crime free society, he said.

The police super was speaking at a views exchange meeting organised by Gaffargaon thana police on the occasion of launching Open House Day programme for the common and underprivileged section of people on Gaffargaon thana premises recently.
