Tornado hits Benapole, 15 injured

At least 15 people were injured and over 50 houses damaged when a tornado swept over four villages in Benapole Tuesday afternoon.

Local sources said the people were injured in house and tree collapses at Baropota, Goalpur, Ichhapur and Amlai villages. The tornado that lasted for three minutes also uprooted a huge number of trees and damaged standing crops on vast acres of land.
