25 injured in Harinakunda clash

At least 25 people were injured in a clash between two rival groups at Parabaria village under Harinakunda upazila of the district on Thursday.

Police and locals said the clash ensued centering dispute on Silly village grouping.

About 200 people of both the groups used lethal weapons during the hour-long clash that left 25 injured, two of them seriously.

The injured were admited to Harinakunda Health Complex and Jhinaidah Sadar Hospital.
