Authorities of Rangpur Medical College Public High School accorded a reception to the brilliant students of the school, who got GPA-5 in this year's SSC examinations on Thursday.

With acting headmaster of the school Motahara Banu in the chair, the reception was atended by head of the department of physiology of Rangpur Medical College (RMC) Prof Dr MA Bari as the chief guest while former principal of RMC Prof Dr M Abdul Mazid was present as special guest

Advisor of the institution Subodh Chandra Debnath has appreciated the efforts of the teachers, students and guardians for achieving the successes by the examinees in the last SSC examinations.

Teachers Habibur Rahman and Alhamra Khanom, GPA-5 holders and guardians also addressed the function.

The speakers congratulated the students who have obtained GPA-5 in the SSC examinations and asked them to be more atentive in pursue their higher studies.

Later, the chief guest distributed crests and certificates among all brilliant students. The reception was followed by a cultural function.
