BDR members recovered four bombs and one Indian pistol from Bazar area in Nachole upazila early Sunday. Acting on secret information a patrol team of BDR chased two suspected smugglers when they were passing through the area in a motorbike and sensing danger they fled the scene leaving the bombs and pistol near the bazar at about 3am.

Meanwhile, BDR jawans, in another drive, seized 40 botles of phensidyl syrup and some Indian cloths from a truck near Mohandanda Bridge in the town early Sunday.
