Abducted Abdur Jabbar Selim's parents demanded of the government to rescue their son who is missing from Gulistan in the city 16 months ago.

Selim's parents also demanded punishment of the abductors and security of their family.

They were holding a press conference at the National Press Club in the city yesterday.

Selim's younger brother Masud filed a case with Paltan Thana Police in this connection on May 17, 2006. The case no-36.

Masud said Selim had conflict with his business partner Shahid Khan. Shahid Khan took Tk 7.5 lakh from Selim in the name of giving possession of a shop at Gaushal Alam Market But Shahid neither gave shop nor returned the money.
