The High Commission of India here in collaboration with Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy will organise a "Fusion Music Concert" on September 12.

Eminent classical singer Pundit Sarathi Chaterjee from India and James, a famous Rock singer of Bangladesh, will present the concert to be held at National Theatre Auditorium here at 7 pm on the day.

Some of the most popular themes during the performance will be mixing Indian classical music with Bangladeshi rock and folk music, an Indian High Commission press release said on Sunday.

The whole concert is expected to bring the audience to a new world of music, it said.

Complimentary passes for the concert may be collected on a first come basis from the High Commission of India, Indian Cultural Centre and Dance and Music Department, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Segunbagicha.
