Partial solar eclipse Tuesday

A partial eclipse of the sun will occur on September 11.

It will start at 16 hours 25 minutes 42 seconds Bangladesh standard time (BST) and will end at 20 hours 36 minutes 30 seconds BST, said an ISPR press release on Sunday.

The greatest eclipse will occur at 18 hours 31 minutes 18 seconds BST and maximum magnitude of the eclipse will be 0.751.

The eclipse will start at La Paz, capital of Bolivia and will end at the northern end of central Antarctica.

The greatest eclipse will occur at the west of Shetland island of Britain in the South Pacific Ocean.

The maximum magnitude of the eclipse will be 0.751 only at that place.

This eclipse, however, will not be visible in Bangladesh.
