Adviser for Foreign Affairs Dr Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury received Hua Du, Country Director of Asian Development Bank (ADB) at his office here yesterday morning.

While speaking to the newsmen following the meeting, the Foreign Adviser said, "We are looking to a 150 million US dollar ADB support for Good Governance in Bangladesh, which includes implementation of the UN Convention on Anti-Corruption that we have signed."

The Foreign Ministry will coordinate an inter- ministerial commitee to find out the gaps that need to be addressed in terms of domestic measures so that Bangladesh can fulfil the conditions of the convention, he added.

Hua Du stated that the ADB would continue to vigorously support, the caretaker governments activities in this respect
