100 thatched houses damaged, 3 injured in in Lalmonirhat tornado

UNB, Lalmonirhat

Over 100 thatched houses were razed to the ground and three people injured when a tornado swept over Kadamtala village in Patgram upazila Friday morning. Local people said the tornado hit the village at about 7:23 am that lasted for 15 seconds, damaging mosques, madrassahs and houses extensively.

Standing crops and vegetables on vast areas of the village were damaged and huge numbers of trees were uprooted during the tornado.
