Bangladesh take on strong Zimbabwe in their 3rd and last B group match of the Merdeka Cup Football Tournament in Malaysia today (Saturday).

The match kicks off at 4:30 pm (BST) at the Shah Alam Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.

This is the first-ever encounter between the two sides at international level.

The match against Zimbabwe for the second string Bangladesh national team has become merely a formality as they suffered a solitary goal defeat against Indonesia in the first appearance and 1-2 goal defeat to Singapore in the 2nd match at the same venue.
