Rangpur district units of Bangladesh Scouts and Bangladesh Rovers on Tuesday launched a project at district Scouts Building for producing 100,000 packs of oral saline for the flood-hit distressed people in the flood-affected areas throughout the country.

Under the assistance of the Social Development and Health Department of Bangladesh Scouts, veteran scout Alhaj Mujibur Rahman in a simple ceremony formally inaugurated the saline project

Chaired by District Secretary of Bangladesh Rovers and Convener of the project Prof Alhaj Abdul Aziz, Commissioner of distrfit scouts Khondker Rafik Hasnine, its Secretary Abdus Sobhan Mia, Treasurer Monwara Begum, scouts' and rovers' executives Elahi Faruk, Mamunur Rashid, Unu Ching Marma, Prof Arefina Begum, Siddikur Rahman, Samshul Alam and Enamul Haq addressed the ceremony.
