Lalmonirhat revenue staffs donate one day salary for flood victims Our Correspondent, Lalmonirhat Both officers and all classes' staffs under the Revenue Section in Lalmonirhat district donated their one day salary for helping to flood affected people at Teesta river char areas. Purchasing relief materials by one day donated salary of the total 46 officers and staffs under Revenue Section in Lalmonirhat, the Lalmonirhat Additional District Commissioner (Revenue) Sarowar Mahamud distributed relief materials among the two hundred flood affected people at Gobordhan, Baroghariya areas under Aditmari upazila in Lalmonirhat Mothers' gathering to raise awareness in Muktagachha Our Correspondent, Mymensingh A mothers' gathering for raising awareness about the atendant of students in the Primary Schools was held to at Luxmipur Govt Primary School in Muktagacha Upazila of the district, recently. Organised by the managing commitee and teachers ,of the school, the gathering was atended by district primary education officer Dabesh Chandra Sarker as the chief guest while Upazila Primary Education Officer Md. Abu Haris, Journalist Imamuddin Mukta, President of the managing commitee Wahedul Alom Khan as the special guest respectively. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (incharge) Abul Bashar Md. Amir Uddin presided over the gathering. Which was addressed among others by upazila resource officer Abu Selim, Headteacher and president of the Upzila Primary Teachers Association Ibrahim Khalil, Secretary Atiqur Rahman, guardians Kazi Ataur Rahman & Dr. Borhan Uddin. Addressing the gathering chief guest Mr. Debesh Chandra Sarker said primary education is the basic foundation of all education. Without the development of primary education it is not possible to develop education in the country. He said atendance of the students must be ensure in the class room. Mother can play 'vital role in this regurd. He urged upon the mothers & guardians to come forward to ensure atendance of students in the classroom.
