Can Blair be a peacemaker?

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has planned to work for peace in the war-savaged Middle East. He already visited dew countries. But can he be a real peacemaker when he gave unconditional support to the US invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq? He sent men and materials to these two countries and vowed to stay as long as the US mission was fulfilled. But he had to resign his post when his own countrymen protested his unrealistic policy. His resignation should not be taken as change of his Middle East stand. It may rather be a camouflage to calm down the outrage of the British people. We think that he cannot play the role of a real peacemaker when he is a partisan. The journey might become successful provided he is neutral first.
