The Army Headquarters Monday contradicted the reports published by some national dailies on the Army Chief’s visit to India, saying that they are not aware of such a visit. An ISPR press release termed as baseless the report about the Bangladesh Army Chief’s bilateral talk with the Indian Army Chief. “Presently, the Chief of Army Staff has no plan to visit India,” the release said.

It said if any such plan is set, newspapers and mass media would be informed timely by the Army Headquarters through proper authorities.
