Chumki Haque won the hundreds of Bengali and German hearts, the music of Chumki Haque gave their hearts long waiting for the taste of heavenly music and the call of the soul for the creator and His commandments.

She is from Pragpur of Daulatpur in Kushtia, a district in Bangladesh. Born in 1980, this natural singer won over many hearts by her melodious voice from her very childhood and adolescent days. In 1998 she was enrolled in Eden College. This widened the door of her getting in touch with many illustrious Gurus of music and they most eagerly took Chumki holding her tender hand through the rugged and steep ridges of music. The famous folk singer, the son of Great Abbasuddin, Mostafa Jaman Abbasi, and also Abdul Latif poured all their brilliance in Chumki. The songs of Lalon, dipped in divinity, and a mystery that is innate in the heart of the music gets heavenly expression in the voice of Chumki and it has enthrolled a million hearts in Europe, and America. Some critiques say, Chumki added a little touch of modernity in her style that made the songs more acceptable to the Europeans and the Americans, and she did with such dexterity that the originality is nowhere compromised. Music certainly has a soul, so was the sayings of the ancient great musicians. When a soul dedicates itself to another soul she loves, she gets love in return. Her love for music and the love of music for her both worked together to build up the glorious future of Chumki. The wide wide door of the world opened for her - the music lover people of Switzerland, Germany, and America greeted her with all honour. They regained the meaning and purpose of life in her voice. Many of us were no at all aware that the songs of Lalon Fakir are so popular even in western countries. Chumki's performances in New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, Michigan proved the contention that The foreignwers are no less addicted to Lalon's songs, particularly when the voice talks to the heart of the audiences.

Chumki Haque is now in Dhaka. Being a student of General History, she has to be attentive in her studies, but she has been invited to America again. The immortal songs of Lalon Fakir may find their home in Chumki's voice, and may people in this strife tom earth find a little peace listening to her heavenly charming voice urging the listeners to attain peace and tranquility and that they may brought closer to dear God, the urge that that Lalon's songs hold.
