Int’l Motor Show in April

The Bangladesh Automobiles Distributors Association (BADA) has taken decision two hold its Second International Motor Show in April with the objective of creating awareness among people about brand new cars. It held the first International Motor Show in May, 2003.

The organizers hope that globally renowned car brands will participate in the show. About 150 participants are expected to display their products in the Motor Show 2006.

Authorised distributors of global brands like Toyata, Mitsubishi, Ford, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volvo, Tata, Ashok Leyland, Isuzu, Hino, Suzuki, Land Rover, Porche, Nissan, Hyundai, KIA, Honda, Proton, Fiat, Mahindra, Scoda and others are likely to participate in the show. Manufacturers from Japan, US, UK, Germany, France, Malaysia, India, Pakistan and Thailand will also take part in the fair.

Apart from distributors, ancillary and other support service companies like tyre, battery, oil, lubricant, CNG conversion, automotive paint, vehicle decoration and audio system, workshop equipment companies and financial companies like bank, insurance and leasing firms will also take part.

Traffic department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police and Department of Environment will put up stalls in the fair to create awareness about traffic rules and environment issues.
